To delete a Currency Definition:
1. Open the Currency Definition workspace from the icon on the Configuration Navigation Pane.
2. Click on the desired item and select the Delete option on the Home ribbon. You can also right-click and select the Delete option from the pop-up menu.
3. When prompted, confirm your deletion.
4. Close the workspace and, when prompted, Save your modifications.
Exercise caution whenever deleting a Currency Definition as this will remove the code from the system and prevent users from accessing the value or corresponding data in the future. Deleting a Currency Definition will result in any report which uses that format to be reset to the default currency. If a Currency Definition is no longer required for any reason, you may want to consider making the value “Inactive” instead, using the Inactive checkbox in the Currency Definition worksheet.
Note: You may not make the default currency inactive on this workspace. Contact MSX Support for more information.
