right-click and select Delete from the pop-up menu. You will receive the
following prompt to confirm your deletion:Tree Definition Root items can be deleted if they are no longer required.
Exercise caution when deleting Root items as this can dramatically change the structure of your summarizations. Also, deleting any Root item will promote any contained sub-tree elements to the root-level.
To delete a Root item:
1. Click on the Trees bar to open the Trees Navigation Pane.
2. Click on the folder where the item resides.
3. Select the item to delete.
4. Click
on the Delete icon, or,
right-click and select Delete from the pop-up menu. You will receive the
following prompt to confirm your deletion:
5. Select Yes to confirm your deletion.
Note: If you do not wish to receive confirmation messages on deletions of Prospero items (Column Definitions, Line Definitions, Report Definitions or Tree Definition Root Items), check the “Do not show this message again” checkbox. You can re-enable confirmation messages by selecting the “Prompt before deleting” checkbox on the Local Settings Options screen
