The Launcher Role is created as part of the Prospero installation and has the following permissions by default:
Report Use Roles Permissions
• Run Reports – When checked, this option indicates that any users assigned to the role can execute any report they have defined or which they have been granted rights via the Visibility option.
• Drill down to transaction details – When checked, this option allows drill-down to view the underlying transactional detail on any report.
• Publish Reports – When checked, this option allows the user to publish reports, which preserves any currently-run report for the period in time and data for which that report has been executed. The published report can then be re-run at any time, returning the same report data. For more information see Creating Published Reports.
• View Published Reports – When checked, this option allows the user to run published reports to view them. If you have the “Publish Reports” permission, you are granted this capability by default.
• Annotate reports – When checked, this permission allows the user associated to the role to add annotations to reports.
Report Use Roles Permissions
• Import Data – When checked, this option allows import of data to the Prospero system, for example the Excel Import process.
• Perform Integration – When checked, this option allows any users assigned to the role to perform integration functions between the Prospero system and any external GL system. For example, this permission allows processing Data Integration functions.
Permissions granted to the Launcher Role can be modified and the Role can be deleted by any Administrator of the system.
The Launcher Role requires a Standard User license and any additional permissions available by holding that license level can be granted to the Role.
