The Viewer Role is created as part of the Prospero installation and has the following permissions by default:
Report Use Roles Permissions
• Drill down to transaction details – When checked, this option allows drill-down to view the underlying transactional detail on any report.
• View Published Reports – When checked, this option allows the user to run published reports to view them. If you have the “Publish Reports” permission, you are granted this capability by default.
• Annotate reports – When checked, this permission allows the user associated to the role to add annotations to reports. To disable the ability to add annotations – but still have the capability to see them – select the Read-Only option on the Role or individual User’s workspace.
Permissions granted to the Viewer role can be modified and the Role can be deleted by any Administrator of the system.
The Viewer Role requires a Limited User license. No additional permissions can be granted to the Role at that licensing level.
